ACH Financial Report - June 2005

As of 31 May 2005 (the closing date of the latest "Bank Statement" for our account) the Association has a total reconciled account balance of $34,862.76 (see attached PDF file for details). The annual revenue distribution from "Linguistic and Literary Computing" was received May 9th, which happened to hit a better-than-expected exchange rate for a net credit of $12106.05. The major disbursements for the year have been for ICHIO website development, subsidy of the Digital Humanities/Humanities Computing Summer Institute, and four ACH Bursary Grants of $1000 each, to be presented at the Conference Banquet.

I should note that because of a secretarial error, our account was credited with a number of credit card transactions that were supposed to have been for the BYU Humanities Research Center (my university department). The account ledger shows several entries to account for, then correct this situation (plus restore an overcorrection). The net effect of all this is (finally) zero. I will be happy to give a more detailed explanation upon request.

Respectfully submitted,

Charles D. Bush, Treasurer
